JD.com Reports 100% GMV Growth for AI PCs, Glasses, Workstations, Cameras During 11.11
JD.com has disclosed early results from its 11.11 shopping event, which began at 8 p.m. on October 12. By 6 p.m. on October 30, the platform had recorded 150 million service orders, and more than 20 million AI products had been sold through the promotion, according to company data. The release provides an early snapshot of the promotion’s performance ahead of the final sales period.
In the AI trend segment, transaction volumes for AI PCs, AI glasses, AI workstations, and AI cameras each grew 100% year over year. Several other AI-enabled household and personal devices posted even faster gains: AI recording equipment, AI microwave-steam-bake ovens, and AI electric toothbrushes increased by more than 200%, while large-screen AI phones and AI smart water cups rose more than fivefold.
JD Supermarket’s AI toy transaction volume increased 150% year over year. In robotics, smart humanoid robot sales climbed 700%, and transaction volumes for emerging categories such as robotic arms and dexterous hands grew more than tenfold.
The figures offer an early look at how AI-enabled consumer products are performing during the annual Singles Day shopping season, one of China’s largest online shopping festivals and a closely watched barometer of consumer demand for electronics and home appliances. They suggest that AI devices are moving from niche categories into mainstream promotions, with JD.com using the event to showcase a broad range of AI hardware. The data underscore the growing role of AI features in consumer electronics and home appliances during major e-commerce campaigns.
