Dexterous Hand Enters Factory: 72 Steps, 30 Seconds Slower Than Manual
At the 2026 Zhiyuan Innovation Day dexterous manipulation forum on the afternoon of Oct 29, Critical Point centered its presentation on a “real-machine-ready” self-developed data-collection glove. The company linked hardware iteration, multimodal data collection, algorithm model upgrades and production-line deployment into one reproducible workflow, aiming to address the sector’s key transition from demo validation to scaled deployment.
In a live cross-city production-line demonstration, a dexterous hand completed 72 process steps, running only 30 seconds slower than manual work per cycle. Critical Point presents the approach as a verifiable industrial practice for embodied dexterous manipulation, combining real-machine readiness with data and model iteration for factory deployment.
