Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum 7 Max Opens Presale at RMB 4,999
Xiaomi's Mijia Robot Vacuum 7 Max opened presales at 10:00 today in two configurations: a water-tank version and a slim, plumbing-connected version. First-sale pricing starts at RMB 4,999, according to the company. The two versions are intended to suit different installation setups.
Xiaomi says the robot is aimed at complex homes where steps, thresholds and low obstacles can interrupt coverage. It claims the 7 Max offers Mijia's strongest obstacle-climbing capability to date, with a 6cm threshold, allowing it to climb steps and cross door sills more easily.
For edges, the vacuum uses a three-arm edge-cleaning design. Xiaomi says this enables millimeter-level sweeping and mopping along walls, corners and furniture edges, addressing a common weakness of robot vacuums in boundary areas.
The 7 Max also supports 50°C hot-water spray spot mopping, which uses heated water for localized cleaning rather than whole-floor mopping. Together, Xiaomi positions the system as a response to two persistent pain points: incomplete corner cleaning and limited mobility in complicated floor plans. The presale offer starts at RMB 4,999.
