Robot Dog Rentals Fall to 100 Yuan, Humanoid Robots to 1,000 Yuan, Market Faces Reshuffle
On October 10, Red Star Capital Bureau reported that the robot rental market, once characterized by "one machine hard to find," is now experiencing a sharp price plunge. In early 2025, daily rents often exceeded 10,000 yuan, but by 2026, some basic models have dropped below 1,000 yuan per day.
The bureau's search across multiple platforms found that mainstream humanoid robot rental prices have fallen by more than 70% compared to last year, while quadruped robot dogs have dropped by about two-thirds. Behind this price collapse is a surge in supply and a rush of platforms entering the market.
Analysts believe that as more manufacturers and rental platforms join the market, robot rental prices may fall further, making an industry reshuffle inevitable. The market has shifted from undersupply to oversupply, and early high premiums are difficult to sustain. The price drop is expected to accelerate adoption but squeeze margins for rental providers. Industry watchers say the shakeout will favor platforms with scale and cost advantages.
