Nvidia Expands Isaac Robotics Platform as Robot ETFs Rise Over 1%
On Oct. 22, China's three major A-share indices closed lower, but the humanoid robot theme outperformed. Nvidia's expansion of its Isaac robotics development platform was cited as a sentiment catalyst, drawing attention to companies across the robotics supply chain.
By the time of publication, the CSI Robot Index had risen 1.24%. Among its constituents, motion-control and industrial-automation suppliers led gains, with MOONS' Electric, Veichi Electric and Kinco Automation among the top performers. The index move underscored investor interest in components tied to humanoid robot production and embodied AI.
Related exchange-traded funds tracked the rally. Robot ETF Yinhua (562360) and Robot ETF Wanjia (560630) both gained more than 1%, according to the report. The gains suggest that, despite weakness in the broader market, thematic funds remain sensitive to Nvidia's robotics software ecosystem and to expectations for commercialization of humanoid robots. The report did not provide further details on the Isaac platform expansion.
