Daimeng Robotics Secures Hundreds of Millions in Funding Led by Ant Group

Daimeng Robotics announced on August 11 that it has completed a funding round of several hundred million yuan, led by Ant Group. The financing marks a significant milestone for the startup, which focuses on tactile sensing technology.

This investment represents Ant Group's first foray into the tactile sensing sector, following previous investments in other embodied intelligence companies such as Unitree Robotics, Xinghai Tu, Lingxin Qiaoshou, and Wuji Robotics.

Daimeng Robotics was incubated from a research team at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and officially began operations in 2023. Headquartered in Shenzhen, the company is dedicated to advancing tactile sensing technologies for robotics applications.
