Shenzhen Shita Robot Closes Angel Round Backed by Huawei's Hubble Investment
Shenzhen Shita Robot Technology Co., Ltd. announced on October 13 that it has completed an angel funding round. The investors include Hubble Investment, Huawei's investment arm; a fund managed by Shenzhen High-tech Investment; and Gaoxuan Investment, with Duowei Capital serving as exclusive financial advisor.
According to the company, the new capital will be focused on product R&D iteration and commercialization. Shita Robot aims to expand its applications across embodied intelligence, consumer electronics, industrial and other scenarios.
The company's core R&D team comes from the Intelligent Liquid Crystal Optics Laboratory at Southern University of Science and Technology. Its participation adds a technical research background to the startup's efforts. The angel round, backed by strategic and financial investors, is expected to support early-stage product development and market validation. The company has not disclosed the funding amount.
Huawei's Hubble Investment is a prominent corporate venture arm, and its participation signals strategic interest in robotics and embodied AI. Shita Robot's origins in an optics laboratory may support sensing and display-related technologies.
