World Robot Conference 2026: No Showboating, Just Real Work
The 2026 World Robot Conference took place in Beijing from August 19 to 23, themed 'Human-Machine Symbiosis, Industry-Demand Integration.' The event attracted 373 domestic and international companies, displaying 3,000 innovative products, with 311 making their global debut. Notably, 48 central state-owned enterprises attended as a group for the first time.
The exhibition area exceeded 60,000 square meters, spanning four pavilions: 'Intelligent Creation,' 'Intelligent Collaboration,' 'Intelligent Manufacturing,' and 'Intelligent Fun.' These showcased a broad spectrum of robotics applications, from industrial machinery to consumer-oriented service robots.
The conference's overarching message was pragmatic: robots are not for showing off but for performing real-world tasks. This focus on utility and tangible outcomes resonated throughout the exhibits, reflecting a maturing industry that prioritizes solving concrete problems over technological spectacle.
