Robots Handle Eggs, Firefighting, and 2-Second Sorting, but 31 Million New Jobs Open Up

At the 2026 World Robot Conference, Yaskawa Shougang's booth featured an industrial robot running at high speed. Parcels moved along a conveyor belt and were quickly sorted into positions by the robot. This system is called the Robot AI Vision High-Speed Logistics Sorting System.

Adjacent to the assembly line, a control console displayed production tempo, hourly output, and machine health diagnostics. The demonstration highlighted how robotics and AI are transforming logistics operations.
