Guanggu Humanoid Robot 7S Store Expands to Xianning, Yichang, and Nationwide

Hu Longdan, manager of the Guanggu Humanoid Robot 7S store, is preparing to open new branches. The new store will be located in the Guanggu Cultural Center, adjacent to the Guanggu Library and Art Museum, covering 2,000 square meters and expected to open by the end of this year.

Branches elsewhere are also being rolled out: the Xianning store will open in September, followed by Yichang in October. Hu Longdan says that wherever the store goes, the ecosystem extends.

These branches are backed by Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group, a state-owned enterprise under the East Lake High-tech Development Zone Management Committee.

The Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center sits in Building A3 of the Guanggu Digital Economy Industrial Park. A real-time data screen in the lobby tracks constantly updating numbers. Upstairs, living rooms, kitchens, and production lines are replicated one-to-one. The center has accumulated 50,000 hours of effective training data, where real actions in simulated scenarios are precisely recorded into data robots can understand.

The center has eight shareholders: Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group provides funding, and the other seven are industry practitioners. Qiling Robot, a founding shareholder, co-developed the humanoid robot Shennong with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with 80% of core components sourced from Hubei. Founder Zhu Lijun's supplier list shows the brain uses a main control chip from Wanxiang Aoke, the cerebellum from Yuansheng Innovation, machine vision from Jidong Intelligent and Juxin Micro, and reducers from Kefeng Intelligent—many connected through the innovation center. Over 20 companies, including Guanggu Huahui, Jijia Vision, and Dirac Robot, are clustered in Building A2.

The park is the first testbed for robots. Unmanned sweepers glide along the plaza, security robots patrol between buildings, and drones clean glass walls. Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group opened this first testbed for embodied AI companies. Wuhan Ketou Property Services, as the park service provider, is both the first customer for robot makers and the operator of the scenarios. In Guanggu Aerospace City, four wheeled robots are about to change residents' daily routines in a delivery test. A robot will arrive at the unit door, the chip senses it, the door opens, and it takes the elevator upstairs to stop at the resident's door. The owner collects items in under five minutes. The service also explores delivery support for the elderly and people with limited mobility.

Chutian Rent addresses the problems of being unaffordable, unusable, and unmaintainable. On July 24, Wuhan Qiyuan Zhiyu Technology Development Co., Ltd. was unveiled to cover the last 500 meters. This wholly-owned platform of Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group focuses on embodied AI, brain-computer interfaces, and computing power. A representative noted that an inspection robot dog costs 200,000–300,000 yuan, and a park needs several, totaling nearly two million yuan—enterprises cannot afford them, and manufacturers cannot sell them. Qiyuan Zhiyu's solution is a heavy-asset holding platform that leases to enterprises via Chutian Rent, enabling light-asset entry and low-cost trial and error.

Hubei Science and Technology Investment Group holds about 7.85 million square meters of park carrier area, manages 26 parks, and serves over 3,000 enterprises. From landmark buildings along Gaoxin Avenue to an integrated innovation ecosystem, the group is cultivating the soil more fertile.
