World Robot Conference Opens, Showcasing China's Rapid Robotics Progress

The 2026 World Robot Conference officially opened on August 19 at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. The event will run until August 23, marking the largest edition in its history.

Under the theme "Human-Robot Symbiosis, Industry-Demand Integration," the conference is co-hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics and the World Robot Cooperation Organization. Alongside the main conference, the World Robot Expo and the World Robot Contest are being held concurrently, with over 70 supporting events.

This year's conference has attracted record participation, drawing exhibitors and visitors from around the world. The expo showcases the latest advancements in robots and automation, spanning sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics. The event has also received support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, underscoring its international significance.
