Zhongqing Robotics Unveils Brain-Inspired EngineAI Awaken Embodied AI Engine
During the World Robot Conference (WRC) on August 22, Zhongqing Robotics' CTO Li Lixiang detailed the company's full-stack embodied AI technical roadmap and unveiled a new AI model architecture. The centerpiece is EngineAI Awaken, a brain-inspired embodied intelligence engine that merges WAM (World Action Model) and VLA (Vision-Language-Action) models.
The engine requires only two hours of on-robot deployment and fine-tuning to achieve a long-horizon action success rate exceeding 98%, enabling efficient generalization from minimal samples. This performance marks a significant step toward practical embodied AI in real-world robotic applications.
Zhongqing has already integrated the architecture with its self-developed force-controlled joints, dexterous hands, and robot bodies, creating a cohesive hardware-software ecosystem. The company positions this as a foundation for future scalable deployment of humanoid robots across various industries.
