National Underwater Robot Competition to Be Held in Dalian

According to an announcement from Dalian's information office on September 9, the 2026 10th National Underwater Robot Competition is scheduled for September 17–20 in Dalian, China. The event is jointly hosted by the Dalian Municipal People's Government and Pengcheng Laboratory, with guidance from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Themed 'Building Dreams in the Ocean, Leading with Intelligence,' the competition introduces a '1+N' format. The '1' represents the main contest focusing on core underwater robot technologies, while 'N' comprises supporting activities, including an underwater robot and marine equipment exhibition, a marine intelligent equipment roadshow and achievement transfer session, an academicians' visit to Dalian, and a youth underwater robot collaborative competition for local students.
