Hangzhou Robotics School Graduates First Four Robots, Deploying to Nestlé and Korea

On the evening of September 17, as the 9th China Robot Summit convened, Hangzhou Robotics School held a graduation ceremony for its first cohort of robot students.

After more than two months of systematic training, four robots from entertainment, industrial, and other application scenarios officially graduated.

At the ceremony, two guide robots, one inspection robot, and one piano robot took the stage in turn to demonstrate skills learned during their studies. The piano robot opened with a five-song medley. The two guide robots gave self-introductions, guided explanations, and Q&A demonstrations. The inspection robot completed a 30-second runway walk and demonstrated its inspection abilities.

The most solemn part of the graduation ceremony was graduation coding. Chen Diansheng, principal of Hangzhou Robotics School, assigned a code to each graduate, officially granting them graduate status.

The two guide robots, coded WJ04260000L3 and WJ04260001L3, will begin work at the Chinese Paintings Encyclopedia Museum and Hangzhou Robotics School, respectively, providing guided explanation services. Inspection robot WJ01260000L4 will go to a Nestlé production workshop in Tianjin for inspection tasks, while piano robot WJ04260002L2 will travel to South Korea for entertainment performances.

The school has established a unified graduation coding standard: a fixed school prefix plus specialty direction code, graduation year code, graduate sequence code, and skill level code. It follows a one-machine-one-code rule that is lifelong, unique, readable, and traceable. The coding covers training directions such as technical, sports, health, and art schools, and is linked to training files, assessment records, and level certification.
