Zhejiang University-affiliated Tuorui Intelligence Completes Tens of Millions Yuan First Round
Hangzhou Tuorui Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (Tuorui Intelligence) has closed a first-round financing of tens of millions of RMB. The round was jointly invested by industrial capital including Power Future Technology and Tongli Technology, plus industrial investors Huang Yuexian and Liu Shaojie.
The proceeds will focus on building an embodied intelligence application pilot base, deploying scaled production lines, and expanding high-end talent. The company aims to strengthen its competitive moat in the embodied intelligence sector.
Tuorui Intelligence has long focused on independent R&D of underlying core technologies. With full-stack self-developed core components, it has built a product system covering robot core components, a general body platform, and a scenario application development platform.
As a professional embodied robot ODM service provider and real-machine scenario data supplier, it integrates software and hardware to build an embodied intelligence foundation and empower diverse applications. Its goal is to become a leading enterprise with autonomous core components, highly scenario-adaptive robots, continuous real-data empowerment, and a win-win industry-chain ecosystem.
Founder and CEO Xue Xingyu studied under CAE Academician Tan Jianrong and Professor Liu Zhenyu at Zhejiang University. With nearly a decade in robotics, he brings technical vision and product commercialization experience, leading a team with integrated R&D, production, and sales capabilities.
Co-founder and CTO Chen Sunjie graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology in Control Science and Engineering. With over eight years in robot core technology R&D and management, he has led breakthroughs in motion control, autonomous navigation, computer vision, and industrial software.
CRO Jing Yutao graduated from Northeastern University in the U.S. and completed a mechatronics postdoc. He is a project member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's SENTRY department and a key person at the SICA laboratory. His research covers sensing and navigation for robots or drone swarms, nonlinear control algorithms, AI deep learning, and machine vision.
Co-founder Academician Tan Jianrong believes the embodied intelligence industry will develop in a diversified way, with multiple sub-tracks advancing in parallel. The underlying driver is highly dispersed downstream scenarios and significantly differentiated demand.
Standardized complete machines struggle to match customized needs across thousands of industries, so robot ODM service providers will become a core bridge linking general technologies with niche scenarios.

Tuorui has independently built a complete closed loop covering high-precision integrated joints, general motion controllers, high-performance energy management systems, multi-form embodied robot bodies, and data collection and training systems. This achieves deep software-hardware coupling and collaborative optimization.
Based on this, Tuorui has built a progressive product matrix of "core components + general robot body + scenario data platform" and offers one-stop ODM customized delivery. After the funds are in place, the company will accelerate construction of an embodied intelligence application pilot base, providing massive real-condition data for embodied large-model training and robot algorithm iteration.
Tuorui will also deploy scaled mass-production lines, turning underlying technology advantages into stable batch delivery capacity to meet demand for efficient, agile, and highly reliable robot ODM services.
This round's investors are core upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain. They will collaborate deeply in supply chain, end scenarios, and channel resources to help Tuorui complete its commercial closed loop.
The company will continue to increase investment in high-level R&D and engineering talent, reserving innovation momentum for long-term technology iteration.
Amid China's industrial intelligent upgrade, Tuorui Intelligence will deepen underlying technology R&D and improve scaled production and delivery.
