D-Robotics Completes $400M Series C Funding, Sunrise Chip Shipments Surpass 8 Million Units
D-Robotics announced today the completion of a $400 million Series C funding round. The round was led by Mirae Asset, with participation from Meituan Strategic Investment, Hefei Guotou, Nanshan Zhansin Investment, Cathay Capital, GF Xinde, and others. Existing shareholders, including Gaorong Ventures, Five Sources Capital, Linear Capital, Vertex Growth, Yunfeng Fund, and Meituan Dragon Ball, continued to increase their investments.
The company also disclosed its latest operating data. Shipments of its Sunrise chips have surpassed 8 million units, marking significant progress in the large-scale deployment of its robotics chips. This milestone highlights the company's growing role in the embodied AI sector. D-Robotics stated that in 2026 it will continue to increase R&D investment and expand embodied AI application scenarios.
The new funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, and grow its global market presence. D-Robotics is dedicated to providing high-performance chip solutions for robots and has already partnered with several leading robotics manufacturers. The company aims to become a key supplier for the next generation of intelligent robots.
