D-Robotics Closes $400M Series C With Meituan and Hillhouse
D-Robotics announced on September 17 that it closed a $400 million Series C funding round, with Meituan and Hillhouse participating, according to Beijing News Shell Finance.
The company says the capital will strengthen the full-compute-range product lineup for its Sunrise chips and support a full-link software platform covering data collection, model training, simulation validation, and inference deployment.
D-Robotics describes the resulting hardware-software embodied intelligence infrastructure as being designed to meet development needs across scenarios, from established robot categories to general-purpose humanoid robots. The company says the platform is intended to help empower a broad surge in robotics product categories.
The round highlights continued investor interest in embodied AI infrastructure as robotics companies seek to scale from specialized machines to broader, more general-purpose platforms.
