D-Robotics Secures $400M Series C as Customer Coverage in Embodied AI Tops 50%
D-Robotics, a leading player in embodied intelligence, announced the completion of a $400 million Series C funding round. The round was led by international investment firm Mirae Asset.
The funding saw participation from internet giant Meituan's strategic investment arm, government-backed platforms including Hefei Guotou, Nanshan Zhanxin Investment, and Jingquan Capital, as well as first-tier institutions such as Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde, Beyond Moore, and Qihang Investment's Xinchuan Phase II Fund. Existing shareholders Gaorong Ventures, Five Sources Capital, and Linear Capital also joined the round.
The investment comes on the heels of a significant milestone: D-Robotics' customer coverage in the embodied intelligence sector has surpassed 50%. This achievement underscores the company's growing market penetration and the widespread adoption of its robotics solutions across the industry. The 50% coverage indicates that a majority of customers in the embodied intelligence market are using D-Robotics' products or services.
The new funding will likely accelerate D-Robotics' product development and commercialization efforts, further solidifying its position in the rapidly evolving embodied AI landscape. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its market presence and drive innovation in embodied intelligence.
