D-Robotics Secures $400 Million in Series C Funding Led by Mirae Asset
On September 17, China Business Journal reported that D-Robotics, a Chinese robotics company, announced the completion of a $400 million Series C funding round. The round was led by international investment firm Mirae Asset.
The investor syndicate includes internet giant Meituan's strategic investment arm, government investment platforms such as Hefei State Investment, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Investment, and Jingquan Capital, and top-tier institutions including Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde, Beyond Moore, Qihang Investment's Xinchip Phase II Fund, and Gaorong Ventures.
The substantial funding underscores strong investor confidence in the robotics and embodied AI sector, despite a broader economic slowdown. While details about the company's technology and product roadmap remain undisclosed, the capital injection is expected to accelerate D-Robotics' research and development and market expansion.
This Series C round is one of the largest in China's robotics industry this year, signaling that investors are betting on the long-term potential of embodied intelligence.
