Swancor Qiyuan marks 10,000th personal robot off production line

Qiyuan Robot, the personal-robot business of Swancor Advanced Materials, marked a production milestone on Nov. 8 when its 10,000th unit came off the line. The company began mass production at its dedicated assembly plant in October, then doubled cumulative output from 5,000 to 10,000 units in just 14 days, according to Securities Times.

Liu Dongfang, co-president of Qiyuan Robot and president of its Q Business Unit, attributed the ramp-up to growing user engagement. He said monthly active use of Qiyuan robots exceeds 98%, while the daily online peak surpasses 40%. Users average three hours online per day and more than 100 interactions per person daily.

Such engagement metrics are closely watched in consumer robotics, where sustained use after purchase remains a challenge. The rapid climb from 5,000 to 10,000 units also points to a faster manufacturing cadence as the company scales its assembly operations. The company did not provide revenue or sales figures for the milestone.
