Shangwei New Materials' Qiyuan Q1 and T1 Robots Reach 10,000 Units Off Line

Shangwei New Materials announced on Sept. 20, 2026, the official release of its consumer-grade embodied intelligent robots, the Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1. By the date of the disclosure, the company said its consumer robot production capacity was ramping in an orderly manner and yield performance was favorable, with 10,000 units of the two models having rolled off the line.

The 10,000-unit milestone indicates that Shangwei New Materials has moved from product unveiling to initial volume production. Still, the company stressed that its revenue is mainly generated by its new materials business. Revenue from consumer-grade embodied intelligent robots accounts for a relatively low proportion of total operating income.

The robot business remains in the phase of scaled mass-production ramp-up and commercialization validation, according to the announcement. As a result, Shangwei New Materials said it cannot yet predict how the business will affect its 2026 revenue and profitability.

The disclosure frames the Q1 and T1 roll-off as an early manufacturing achievement rather than a confirmed commercial breakthrough. For investors, the key signal is that output is rising and yields are healthy, while the financial contribution of the consumer robot line remains limited and uncertain during the validation period.
