China's Data Industry Exceeds 6 Trillion Yuan in 2025
At the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo held in Guiyang, the China Data Industry Development Report (2026) was officially released. This annual gathering of the big data sector provides a platform for unveiling key industry statistics and trends.
According to the report, China's data industry achieved a total scale of 6.78 trillion yuan in 2025, registering a year-on-year growth of 15.7%. This robust expansion reflects the growing importance of data as a production factor in the national economy.
The report also shows that the number of data enterprises across the country reached 482,000 by the end of 2025, an increase of 17.9% year-on-year. Notably, data enterprises operating in emerging fields such as large models, synthetic data, and embodied intelligence data services have seen active financing, indicating high investor interest in these innovative segments.
