Founded in 2015, BrainCo is the first Chinese team admitted to the Harvard Innovation Lab and a global leader in non-invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) technology. BrainCo has raised and invested $500 million in R&D, and together with Elon Musk's Neuralink it is one of the two largest-funded companies in the global BCI field — the leaders of the non-invasive and invasive tracks respectively. BrainCo is also China's first "unicorn" in the BCI field, undertaking and participating in multiple key national BCI projects.
