Horizon-incubated Drobot raises $400M Series C, over half of existing investors follow on
Drobot, a robotics company incubated by Horizon Robotics, announced the completion of a $400 million Series C funding round. The round was led by Mirae Asset, with joint participation from Meituan's strategic investment arm, Hefei State Investment, and other leading institutional investors. Notably, more than half of Drobot's existing shareholders, including Hillhouse Venture Capital, Five Ventures, and Yunfeng Capital, continued to invest, signaling strong confidence in the company's direction. The follow-on from existing investors underscores the growing momentum in China's robotics and embodied AI sector, where Drobot is positioned as a key player. Drobot's incubation by Horizon Robotics provides a strong foundation in AI and chip technology, and the new capital will accelerate its technology development and commercialization efforts. This round marks a significant milestone for the company.
