Banks Roll Out IPO-Focused Wealth Management Amid New Listing Surge
On August 10, Unitree Robotics, a leading Chinese quadruped robot company, will open its IPO subscription with an issue price of 150.80 yuan per share and a total offering of 40.446 million shares. The company's prospectus shows that wealth management products from Everbright, Minsheng, Southern, Ningbo, China Merchants, and Postal Savings banks have all made it into the preliminary inquiry valid quotation list, indicating strong institutional interest.
Just recently, Changxin Technology (CXMT), a memory chip maker, saw its stock price surge significantly in the first week of listing, creating a notable wealth effect that has drawn market-wide attention. Capitalizing on this momentum, many banks are now promoting "IPO subscription strategy" wealth management products to investors, aiming to attract retail participation.
Indeed, China Merchants Bank and SPD Bank have already launched dedicated "IPO subscription" sections on their mobile banking apps, streamlining access for investors. This trend highlights banks' efforts to ride the new-stock wave, but experts caution that investors should carefully assess product terms and potential risks before committing capital.
