D-Robotics Secures $400M Series C to Accelerate Commercialization
On Sept. 17, D-Robotics announced the completion of a $400 million Series C funding round, according to Xinhua Finance. The round was led by Mirae Asset, with strategic investment from internet giant Meituan.
Government-backed platforms including Hefei Guotou, Nanshan Zhanxintou and Jingquan Capital joined, alongside institutional investors such as Cathay Capital, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde, Beyond Moore, and the second phase of Qianhai Investment's Xinchuang Fund. Hillhouse Venture Capital also participated.
The company said the new capital will support its commercialization push, which it describes as entering a high-growth phase. The deal highlights continued investor appetite for Chinese robotics and embodied AI ventures despite broader funding caution. D-Robotics did not disclose its valuation or specific revenue targets. The funding is expected to accelerate product deployment and market expansion. The round also reflects the growing role of local government funds in China's robotics sector. The investment follows a broader wave of interest in embodied AI, where robots are trained to operate in physical environments.
