COFE+ Gen7 Coffee Robot Debuts at Xiangshan Forum with 58-Second Latte Art
At the Xiangshan Forum, attendees are mainly defense and security representatives. COFE+ Gen7 robotic coffee shop appeared in this setting, positioned as a system that can work, operate, and genuinely serve.
The live demonstration had a robotic arm perform extraction, milk frothing, imitation hand-pour latte art, and 3D art printing. Output speeds were 28 seconds for espresso, 38 seconds for cappuccino, and 58 seconds for specialty latte art coffee.
Powered by an AI smart store brain, the robot can adjust more than 300 key parameters in real time. It claims millimeter-level control over water temperature, extraction pressure, and material metering, and says it can produce 1,000 cups per day with zero errors.
The 58-second figure reflects seven years of iteration. COFE+ comes from Haitun Robotics, founded in 2018 and one of China's earliest entrants in the coffee robot sector.
Unlike most companies that take technology and look for scenarios, Haitun started in 2017 by working backward from scenario needs to technology R&D. It has iterated eight product generations in eight years. By Gen7, latte art no longer depends on motion control precision; it uses fluid dynamics modeling to calculate how milk foam flows, diffuses, and stacks on the espresso surface.
After a consumer uploads any image or text, the algorithm derives milk-flow control parameters in real time, and the robotic arm creates a custom pattern on the coffee surface. Completing a custom latte art coffee in 58 seconds is difficult for a human barista, and the robot does it with stable repetition. This turns coffee-making from an experience-based craft into a computable, repeatable automated process.
