Unitree's Market Value Halves From Debut Peak as Investors Reassess Valuation
Unitree Robotics opened at 1,100 yuan per share on its first day of trading, giving the humanoid robot maker a market capitalization of 444.9 billion yuan — a 629% jump over its 150.8 yuan IPO price.
That debut proved to be the peak. The stock has fallen steadily since, and the company's market value now stands at 203.6 billion yuan, down 54% from the first-day high.
Roughly 241.3 billion yuan has been erased in about a month, prompting questions about how much of the earlier rally rested on hype around humanoid robots.
The latest financials paint a mixed picture. Revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 1.152 billion yuan, up 48.54% year on year, and net profit came in at 274 million yuan.
Non-recurring-adjusted net profit, however, declined 19.34% over the same period — a sign that profitability, not just top-line growth, is now drawing closer scrutiny from investors.
