LimX Dynamics and Kyland Release China's First Humanoid Robot With Domestic Electronic Architecture
On September 28, the 2026 Domestic Electronic Architecture Embodied Intelligence Robot Launch Conference was held in Yichang, Hubei Province.
At the event, LimX Dynamics and Kyland Technology jointly unveiled China's first humanoid robot equipped with a domestic electronic architecture.
The machine marks the first time domestic industrial-grade real-time communication capability has been integrated across the complex systems of a humanoid robot, signaling that China's underlying electronics are moving from the component level toward full-machine system level. The two companies say the collaboration was carried out through whole-machine, system-level adaptation, with the goal of bringing the domestic architecture into real-world deployment.
Robots must enter complex real-world scenarios and execute tasks fully autonomously. That requires a brain system to drive the large volumes of perception, decision-making and motion-control information and commands through the entire machine in real time and with stability.
On humanoid robots in particular, communication latency, jitter and system coordination efficiency directly affect control precision, dynamic stability and task safety. At the same time, much of the industry's underlying electronic architecture still relies heavily on overseas systems.
As ecosystems for robot bodies and core components such as cameras, sensors, dexterous hands and joint drives take shape, filling in the domestic electronic architecture gap has become an important foundation for scaling embodied intelligence.
Based on continued exploration of fully autonomous tasks and real-world scenarios, the two companies divided the work at the whole-machine system level. LimX Dynamics brings three core technologies — original design and manufacturing of the robot body hardware, brain-cerebellum fusion technology, and the COSA humanoid brain system — providing a high-performance platform for validating the domestic electronic architecture. Kyland Technology supplies the fully domestic underlying electronic architecture, effectively installing an autonomous nervous system in the robot.
As a technology platform company, LimX Dynamics not only provides robot bodies and the humanoid brain system but also connects developers and industry partners through an open embodied model training platform. Its ecosystem partners already cover research, inspection, commercial services, entertainment, industry, construction and sports.
What does domesticating the electronic architecture mean? The electronic architecture is the intelligent nervous system that determines a machine's performance ceiling, covering the operating system, network, tool software and AI computing chips.
Most robot companies previously purchased chips, operating systems and development tools from abroad and integrated them in-house. That approach could quickly produce products in the early stage, but once large-scale deployment and industrial scenarios arrive, supply chain security, system controllability and fault isolation become hard constraints.
Kyland Technology's fully domestic electronic architecture is built on deterministic computing and deterministic networking, integrating and jointly optimizing four technologies: the Intewell operating system, the AUTBUS international standard, MaVIEW tool software and fully domestic AI processor chips.
The collaboration advances the domestic electronic architecture from the component level to the whole-machine system level. The next question is whether the architecture can run on more robot bodies, and whether its performance, power consumption and development toolchain can meet commercial requirements.
