Panda Robot Somersaults Steal Spotlight at UESTC Robotics Roadshow

From Sept. 26 to 27, the “Digital-Intelligent Symbiosis, University-Locality Co-prosperity” robotics and AI industry-academia integration series took place at UESTC’s Shahe campus. The event served as a key component of UESTC’s 70th anniversary and the second Alumni Culture Festival, comprising an offline robot tour and an industry-academia integration development conference.

Nearly 30 domestic and international robotics companies exhibited, spanning industrial manufacturing, medical rehabilitation, life services and embodied intelligence. A panda robot performing somersaults became a focal point, drawing crowds and highlighting advances in embodied intelligence and motion control.

The event was designed to promote industry-academia integration and university-local collaboration in robotics and AI, providing a platform for technical exchange, technology transfer and industrial matchmaking.
