PHYBOT was founded in September 2024 as a technology company focused on the development and deployment of general-purpose embodied intelligence agents.
Co-founders Ren Xiaoyu and Mao Shuhan both graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University.
Guided by its core vision of "Robot for AI," the company starts from the innovation principle of "building the right physical body for AI," and drives the leap from cognitive intelligence to embodied intelligence through full-stack in-house development and native hardware-software synergy.
The company's core product, the PHYBOT C Series bipedal humanoid robot, is the world's first humanoid robot capable of autonomously playing badminton against humans in real-world settings.
At the 2026 World Robot Conference, the C2 model further demonstrated its ability to autonomously play table tennis with human spectators, predicting incoming ball trajectories in time, moving flexibly, and guiding the racket on its own.
Another product, the PHYBOT M Series, is a heavy-duty bipedal robot designed for industrial and special scenarios, featuring ten-thousand-watt-level explosive power and whole-body precise coordination.
