The National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (abbreviated as "NCRC"), also known as Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., is a new-type R&D institution established by leading industry companies, with a registered capital of 1 billion RMB.

The center was officially established in Zhangjiang, Pudong, Shanghai in December 2023, and was officially licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May 2024.

As the first national-level innovation center in the humanoid robot industry, NCRC focuses on common and key technologies in the field, and is committed to building a common service platform that integrates technology R&D, achievement incubation, talent cultivation, and platform support.

In July 2026, NCRC, together with Huawei, released the nation's first embodied intelligence training ground demonstration site.
