Mentee Robotics is an Israeli technology company focused on the development of humanoid robots, co-founded in late 2021 by Professor Amnon Shashua, founder of Mobileye, Shai Shalev-Shwartz, Chief Technology Officer of Mobileye, and Professor Lior Wolf, former Director of AI Research at Facebook.
Headquartered in Israel, the company is dedicated to developing general-purpose intelligent humanoid robots for real-world scenarios such as warehouses and homes.
In April 2024, Mentee unveiled its first humanoid robot prototype, the MenteeBot.
In its four years since inception, the company has advanced to the development stage of its third-generation vertically integrated humanoid robot, with its technical core rooted in a unique "rapid learning capability"—a "few-shot generalization" technology that enables robots to master new skills from just a small number of human demonstrations.
In January 2026, Mobileye announced the acquisition of Mentee for $900 million.
