In March 2025, HONOR unveiled its Alpha Strategy, planning to invest $10 billion over five years to transform into a globally leading AI-powered terminal ecosystem company. The company has officially entered the robotics sector, establishing a new industrial incubation division that houses five laboratories focused on embodied intelligence, embodied data, interaction safety, powertrain, and bionic body research, with its AI and software teams now comprising 2,600 employees.

In April 2026, HONOR's "Qitian Dasheng" team claimed victory at the Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon with its self-developed humanoid robot "Lightning," finishing in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. "Lightning" stands 169 cm tall, weighs 45 kg, reaches a peak speed of 14.5 m/s, and delivers a peak joint module torque of 400 N·m. Additionally, HONOR has introduced a compact humanoid robot, "Yuanqizai" (136.9 cm tall), equipped with multimodal situational awareness and understanding capabilities.
On August 12, 2026, HONOR launched the world's first robot phone, the HONOR Robot Phone, featuring an industry-first four-degree-of-freedom titanium alloy dexterous gimbal with a motor weighing just 2.6 g.
