Founded in February 2025, Wuhan GLROAD Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Wuhan GLROAD Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and the team of Academician Chen Xuedong. The team has undertaken multiple 863 robot R&D programs and holds industry-leading core technologies in quasi-direct-drive electric joints and high-dynamic drive control, with 60+ intellectual property rights. As a chain-leader enterprise of Hubei Province, the company leads the national research effort on full humanoid robot technology and launched the world's first dual-arm high-load humanoid robot above 50 kg. Focused on robot hardware and scenario deployment, it has built the full "Worker" robot family of 1.3 m, 1.7 m, and 1.9 m humanoids, wheeled robots, and quadrupeds, now widely applied in electric power and energy, hazardous-chemical emergency response, municipal engineering, and science, education, culture, and tourism.
