Elite Robots was founded in 2016, with its founding team coming from the Robotics Institute of Beihang University and the Department of Precision Instrumentation of Tsinghua University.

The company is built around a "full-stack self-development" core, establishing a complete proprietary technology system from the underlying operating system to intelligent algorithms.

In May 2026, Elite Robots globally launched the wheeled humanoid robot Centaur-G1, featuring a design of a "wheeled chassis combined with a humanoid upper body equipped with high-precision dual arms," and simultaneously introduced its fully self-developed industrial-grade embodied large model platform, "Yuanqi Primo."
