The company was formerly known as Shenzhen Walker Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (founded in 2016), which originated from the largest Sino-German AI collaboration project and was among the early entrants into the bipedal robot sector in China.

DroidUp positions itself as the "pioneer of fully bionic robots," with a core focus on bionic tendon-driven actuation technology.

Its bipedal humanoid robot, "Walker II," is the world's first modular humanoid robot based on bionic tendon-driven actuation technology.

The team has over 20 years of experience in bipedal dynamic walking and cross-modal learning research.

In 2026, the company officially moved into Zhangjiang Robot Valley.
