Guangdong Dongfang Precision Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in Foshan in 1996 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2011 (002611). In September 2025 it set up the joint venture Dongfang Yuanqi with Leju Robotics and holds 80% of it. In March 2026 the 10,000-unit-level automated humanoid robot production line built by the two partners started operation in Foshan and was inaugurated in May. In April 2026 the company sold its corrugated board production line business, concentrating resources on intelligent packaging equipment, intelligent marine equipment and embodied intelligent robots.
