How fast can a robot react?
In the Catch the Stick Challenge, Sharpa D01 detects the falling stick, moves at high speed to intercept it, and uses precise control to secure the grasp.
The challenge brings several capabilities together at once:
- >10.5 m/s maximum end-effector speed
- 0.2 mm repeatability
- 1000 Hz communication frequency
Fast motion alone isn't enough. The robot has to reach the right place, at the right time, and complete the grasp with precision.
