Robot Era: Half Overseas, Nine of Top 10 Tech Firms as Clients

At CES 2026, Robot Era brought four products: L7, Q5, XHAND 1, and XHAND 1 Lite. The company disclosed that overseas business accounts for 50%, covering core markets including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and South Korea.

Nine of the world's ten most valuable technology companies are customers. Embodied AI firms such as Skild AI and Humanoid AI use its products, while MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, and Carnegie Mellon treat them as standard research tools. Cumulative orders have exceeded 500 million yuan.

The overseas share and customer structure say more about its position in the industry chain than product parameters.

At CES, L7 demonstrated handing over water and carrying bags. Robot Era's L7 is China's first full-size bipedal humanoid robot combining large-scale motion and dexterous manipulation; it stands 171 cm tall and weighs 65 kg. The on-site demo featured high-DOF whole-body teleoperation: handing water to visitors, carrying bags, picking up objects, taking out trash, delivering gifts, and shooting vlogs. It previously set a standing high-jump world record at the first World Humanoid Robot Conference. The focus was the smoothness and precision of whole-body teleoperation.

Robot Era also introduced a multi-form option: full-size bipedal L7 plus half-body M7, allowing enterprises to choose flexibly. L7 and M7 have already achieved initial deployment in warehousing and logistics. The design responds to different embodiment needs—not all scenarios require bipedal walking; a half-body form may be more efficient and lower-cost at fixed workstations.
